Where can you find us these days?
[Conference] June 2024. Greetings from ETH Zurich where I am attending/giving a seed talk at the 9th International Workshop on Structural Control and Monitoring (9IWSCM). Very interesting discussions about opportunities and challenges in digital twinning, structural health monitoring, and control.
[Conference] I am so proud of my students Nihan, Javad and Nicholas, and our visiting scholar Ozge, who all presented their great work at EMI in Chicago this year. Congratulations!
[Conference] February 2024. SIAM-UQ 24: Happy to have co-organized a successful session on "Uncertainty Quantification in Neural Network Models" with Dr. Sargsyan and Dr. Najm from Sandia National Lab, great talks!
[Publication] May 2023. Our work on Bayesian neural networks with physics‐aware regularization for probabilistic travel time modeling is now published in Computer Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (open-access) (link)
[Publication] August 2022. Our work on Data analytics for improved closest hospital suggestion for EMS operations in New York City gets published in Sustainable Cities and Society (link)
[Conference] June 2022. Dr. Olivier presents recent work on the use of stochastic degradation models for prognosis estimation at 8WCSCM (8th World Congress on Structural Control and Monitoring). Dr. Olivier is also an invited panelist / mentor at the Building Research Careers in Structural Control and Monitoring mini-symposium and will share her experience on pursuing a research career path.
[Conference] May 2022. Dr. Olivier presents recent work on data-driven optimization of hospital transports at EMI (Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference).
[Conference] April 2022. Dr. Olivier presents her work on Bayesian neural networks at the SIAM UQ 22 conference in Atlanta, GA. First in-person attendance to a conference after a two-year COVID break!
[Seminar] December, 2021. Dr. Olivier gives an invited talk for the monthly USACM UQ webinar (link)
[Media] November 2021. Media post on Dr. Olivier' postdoc work with Columbia University and the New York City Fire Department (link)
